What Has Been Done?
- Filed as a Missing Person: Justin Joseph Clark was filed as a Missing Person with the San Francisco Police Department (415-558-5508) on July 15, 2009 (case number 090725735).
- Investigation of his Financial Records: All of his financial records, as confirmed through a credit report, including his bank accounts and credit cards, have revealed that his last financial transaction was a cup of coffee on July 9, 2009 at Royal Ground Coffees on 1605 Polk Street, San Francisco. Further, he was in good financial standing and without significant debt. He also made no withdrawals indicating that planned to leave.
- Investigation of his Phone Records: All of his text messages and phone calls preceded his disappearance. Through an investigation of the incoming and outgoing calls and text messages, we were unable to find information about his probable location.
- Contacted the Last Person to Interact with Justin: We communicated with the last person to speak with Justin, an employee at Royal Ground Coffees that sold him a cup of coffee (his last financial transaction tracked). Through this employee we were able to confirm that he was good mental and physical state but were unable to find information that could lead us to Justin. We also inquired about security camera recording, which was not available.
- Contacted his Friends and Family: Although we are still contacting people from his past, we were able to contact most of his friends and family and colleagues. We could not contact his friend Mikey (aka Boris Killoff-Please refer to Justin’s Facebook account for more information) and are still looking to connect with him. If you can reach him, please let us know.
- Searched his Apartment: We thoroughly searched and monitored his apartment prior to moving his possessions into storage on August 22, 2009. There was no evidence that he returned to it again. From this search, we found that he left almost all of his possessions behind: including camping stuff, bags, suitcases, clothes, computer, cell phone charger (iphone), passport and art materials. We were unable to find his phone, wallet and keys.
- Confirmed the location of his Car & Skateboard but not his Bike: Justin’s car was found at his work. Through a search of his car, we found his skateboard. To date, we do not know were his blue road bicycle is or, if he had sold it prior to his disappearance.
- Contacted his Place of Employment: Justin worked as a registered nurse (R.N.) in the San Francisco Area. We are in close communication with his employer. Although they have been extremely helpful to us, they do not have information as to his whereabouts.
- Contact Jails, Hospitals and Coroner’s Office: We routinely contact Jails and the Coroner’s office in the SF Bay Area. To our knowledge Justin has not fallen into the custody of local law enforcement or has been identified in the coroner’s office. We regularly call SFO county jail-7th st, SFO county jail-Bryant, San Mateo county jail, Martinez county jail, Alameda county jail, Marin county sheriff.
